Luedvig's Lyrical Lyre

This magic item is one for the bards, if the name didn't give it away; an uncommon instrument, Luevig's Lyrical Lyre. Players who are clever enough to speak in haikus and rhyme are rewarded with advantage on Charisma checks, as well as limited usage of the suggestion spell. We think this is a fun item to drop on your players; it makes them work a bit for their character's charisma and creativity, rather than hand waving it with some dice rolls. We're hoping that this will lead to some goofy and touching poetry and lines at the table; and that suggestion hijinks ensue!

Luedvig’s Lyrical Lyre

Wondrous item, uncommon (requires attunement by a bard)

This lyre is plated with an intricate golden design that depicts the events of an ancient myth. While playing the lyre, you can make any Charisma (Deception, Performance, and Persuasion) ability checks with advantage so long as you phrase your words in at least two sentences or phrases that rhyme, or in the form of a haiku.

The lyre has 3 charges. You can use an action to play the lyre and expend 1 of its charges, and cast the suggestion spell (save DC 15) from it. Your suggestion must be two sentences or phrases and must rhyme. Alternatively, your suggestion can be in the form of a haiku. The lyre regains 1d3 expended charges daily at dawn.
